The Warrior Meal Share Program supports currently enrolled Wayne State students by providing meal swipes to reduce food insecurities students may face. Meal swipes are shared by Wayne State students with meal plans who donate their guest meal swipes. Wayne State Housing & Dining and The W Food Pantry have teamed up to create this program with the joint mission of enhancing student success.

How do I apply for the program?
If you are a currently enrolled student who would benefit from the program, please visit The W Food Pantry to pick up a Meal Card. A Wayne State staff member will reach out to you soon after to provide you with additional information and resources from across campus.

How do I use my meal swipes?
• Your Meal Card will be loaded with an allotted amount of meal swipes you can use at the all-you-care-to-eat dining halls, Towers Café and Gold ‘n’ Greens, and at Towers Cafe Express in the Student Center food court.
• Simply hand the cashier your Meal Card, tell them you’d like to use a meal swipe, and dine with us.
• If you would like to know your balance, you may ask the cashier or visit the OneCard office in the Welcome Center.

How do I share my meal swipes?
If you are a currently enrolled student with a meal plan and are interested in sharing your guest meal swipes, you may complete a form at go.wayne.edu/donate-a-meal. You are able to share up to 3 guest swipes per semester.

Why should I share my guest meal swipes?
If you don’t often treat a guest to the dining hall, there are other Warriors who could benefit from your guest meal swipes.
• 30% of college students are food insecure
• 43% of food insecure students have a meal plan
By sharing up to 3 of your guest meal swipes, you will contribute to helping your fellow students stay Warrior Strong.
